Been several times when visiting Bridgnorth. Our go to place, always beautiful home cooked food well prepared and nicely presented at sensible prices. Only drawback no lavatories, but still go there rather than anywhere else. Recommended. p.s. the home made steak pie with vegetables and gravy is excellent. Great choice of other meals on the menu and specials board.
A traditional English cafe offering a quite an extensive menu, friendly staff, very good value food, can be tricky to find as it's up an alley but we'll worth it, one thing is it's cash only which is a bit odd this day & age.
Popped in here for the first time at the weekend. We were really impressed. Proper old fashioned little cafe/greasy spoon - in a good way :-) Food was very good and portions decent. None of your usual silly prices - Sausage (x2), egg and chips for a fiver. Can't beat that. Friendly staff as well. Proper family place. Dog friendly which is a must for us! Only issue was lack of toilets, a tad strange but can't knock marks off for that. Will be back when next in Bridgnorth.
Found this place when looking for breakfast. We had a fabulous cooked breakfast each, great price, great service. Will definitely visit again.
Excellent food and very reasonably priced. When I asked for a doggy bag because the meal was too much for me they willingly obliged. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. I would recommend without hesitation and we will definitely be back for more. Good job.
We visited this lovely cafe and was blown away by the quality of food, the price, the friendliness of the owners and just about everything. We had a cooked breakfast at lunchtime with locally sourced foods which was outstanding. Will definitely return and highly recommend.
Went to this cafe today with friends. Being coeliac I’m always cautious, but I thoroughly enjoyed a breakfast which was cooked perfectly ,and they gave me an extra egg to replace the sausage . My friends also enjoyed all their food. It’s a shame this place is a little hidden away in a courtyard but I’m glad we found it. Thanks to the staff. Bernard
Lovely little cafe just off Bridgnorth High Street. We ordered as as family of five, the meals came within a few minutes and each was piping hot, tasty and wonderful value for money!! Nice friendly service and happy to have a chat. Will definitely return on our next visit.
